Awsome Matariki Art

we have been learning about Matariki and we were tasked to make an art piece. 

1. we started with finding the place meant by the stars.
2. then we made a draft on a piece of paper but we had to do it backwards so that when it prints it is the right way round.
3. then we got a piece of foam and put our design on it after we did that we went into that maker space. to print then we would pick our colours then roll them onto our piece of foam.
4. then we got a piece of paper and put the foam underneath so that the colours could transfer to the paper.
5. then you would repeat that until you get one you like.
6. after that, you get a big piece of paper and some cardboard with a square cut out in the middle. 
7. then you get your piece of paper and put the cardboard on it and mark out a square on the paper.
8. then you get a ruler and put it on the line you have made and cut it out.
9. then you glue it to your chosen picture and write your signature.
10. Boom you are done.

             And after that, you get this.

I hope you like it and know now how to make amazing pieces of art.

Animals can be funny to

We have been learning about nouns and collective nouns we were tasked to find collective nouns for animals and take those literally. So for a barrel of monkeys, you make a bunch of monkeys in a barrel. I have made a small presentation on ten of these types of collective nouns.

Eggcelant egg drop

Today we were tasked to protect an egg from a high fall my group was not able to protect the egg barely any groups were actually able to protect it only two groups were actually able to protect it. I had a lot of fun doing this experiment but there was a lot of things that we could have done better and here are some of them.

today in literacy we learn about adaptation which is where an animal adapts and evolves to its environment 

there are three tips of adaptation physical which is something you can see behavioural which is some that changes in your actions and physiological which is something that happens inside you. after we did that we were tasked to make a d.l.o of how-to types of birds have similar and different adaptation the birds I pick where the kiwi and moa here is my presentation.

Horifing Holocaust

Over the term, we have been working on a site about the holocaust and a chosen question this stared from us reading the book once then we took that information and made some questions on the holocaust then we reaserched those questions and then took them and put them on a site.

The question that I chose was about the liberators, a person who liberates a person or place from imprisonment or oppression. then we hade to make questions about that topic who were the liberators? what are liberators? when did the Nazis get defeated? how did people find Auschwitz? why did Germany lose? where was the first camp that first got liberated?.

to day we where tasked to make a art piece inspierd by hunterwasser if you dont know how he is here is some of his art

he completly regected straight lines and only youses curves also some more of his signater thing are terdrops, lolly pop trees, floting eyes, rows of houses, onion domes hiding faces and spirals. There is also a spersific colour palet it is Analogous colours and Complimentary colours. Complimentary colours are colours that are across from each other.
